Im Rahmen der Spring School Musikpädagogik NRW 2026: Musik unterrichten unter den Bedingungen von Postdigitalität und KI an der Hochschule für Musik Detmold

Jun.-Prof Dr. Lawrence Wilde (Universität Siegen) & Charles White (Universität Graz, Universität Erfurt) This workshop focuses on practical and pedagogical approaches to making music with Al, using AIVA - Your personal Al music generation assistant tool in combination with the digital audio workstation Ableton Live as central tools. Through hands-on experi-mentation, short compositional tasks, and guided discussion, participants will explore workflows that connect Al-based music generation with editing, arranging, and pedagogical reflection in a DAW environment. The workshop addresses how Al can function as a creative partner and didactic resource, and how questions of creativity, authorship, and learning are negotiated when Al tools are integrated into music teaching and teacher education.
